Did not notice before but each set has an estimated WU count, so don't hesitate to guess where we are with 000-105 :)

Don't know what is going on, but as of last night there were 12,018,962 results validated. The status page indicates there are 13,780,000 with only 8,241 validated on Sunday. Either the buffers are full of uncompleted tasks [whihc according uplinger is capped at around 200,000], or there's a calc error. [Seems to be hard as X * 30 blocks at 100,000 steps + Y * 40 at 100,000 steps gives Z results, not even counting the broken task that don't do 100,000 steps, and thus add 1 task to a sequence, for each incidence]... of course the 3rd possible is the base tasks were not all sent to WCG, or 4th, someone needs to get hold of a size 150 wrench and whack the work generator. The 5th possible I'll not disclose, but if the numbers tally, there'd have to be 1.8 million more results for the 000-105 experiment

Sorry, I did not get a chance to dig into this before the weekend. It appears that some new batches we tried to load failed due to an improper file name. This stopped any new work from being loaded into the grid. I have marked those work units that were giving us trouble in suspend mode on our end and manually kicked off the work unit loader. new work should be flowing now. Thanks, -Uplinger |
