using WCG version of BOINC...just noticed that some computers in Device manager page are missing all characters after _
----------------------------------------example, 1 of my devices is P4L_VS4... shown in Device manager only as P4L though shown in Results status-es... what's going on? |

It's been reported and discussed multiple times that device names which have a '_' in the name only show up to the '_', so e.g. all 'androids_xyz' only show as 'android'. This is a problem for the device statistics, but not for the Result Status pages.

it's also problem 4 Device manager, 'cause u can't assign a Device profile to exact that 1 machine...only a group of machines! a that is not a good thing... A simple "thank you" to SekeRob* would have sufficed, but you had to go change the subject instead.
