I just checked my laptop and it appears that I am getting close to no work available. Since I recently added The Clean Energy Project back in, I decided to increase the amount of time to 1.5 days to see it it will help. Yea, when I saw the post about UGM running out of work soon, I went and grabbed a bunch of UGM work by bumping my buffer way up, letting BOINC fill it and then setting it back to normal. I just finished crunching that work in the past several hours. I know FAAH is out of work and UGM is for now until they get more from the project scientists. That leaves OET, CEP2 and MCM. I haven't crunched MCM in quite a while since I am over 5 years on it and was focusing on UGM and OET. When I was crunching CEP2. I did change the setting in the device profile specific to CEP to "unlimited". That let me run with my cache full of CEP2 WUs. I would not set it that way unless you have 1GB of memory per core though. As I recall, running four CEP at once used 80-90 percent of the 4GB of memory my machines have. For now, I would have OET, MCM, UGM (even though it's listed as intermittent) and CEP (if your machines can handle it) all checked in the device profile. I also usually run with a three day cache since my machines run 24/7. |

I have over 24G of RAM for my laptop so I can handle however much the requirements are for each core. I have been running up to eight CEP tasks at one time with no problem.
