Patrick, do you have the previous version of the BOINC client you installed? The install application used to install 7.2.31. If so, use that to uninstall the previous client. Then install with the 7.2.47 you downloaded from our site.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

Dieter,
Thank you for the feedback. It looks like you may have caught a bug in the trickle handler. That is a good thing for going forward, unfortunately it marked your result as invalid before you had a chance to upload the proper file. I will be correcting the handler now to properly handle this case. Thanks, -Uplinger |

I was able to snag 3 WU's - all 3 have now been running for over 9 hours - at least 62% done -

Hi all
I got only 2 of these betas over about 40 CPU cores. Both downloaded & are running OK under BOINC 7.0.27 / Linux 64-bit. So at least under Linux, you don't need a client later than 7.0.27, which is the one in the Debian 7 repository. --- Hope the test goes well, though I wish the scientists had come up with improvements to their algorithms to improve the underlying accuracy of the molecular modelling, rather than what seems to be trying to determine the best weightings of several different models which are individually not accurate enough. But I'm sure they're doing the best they can ... [/OT] |

One of my beta units has just completed and reported after nearly 10 hours. Pleased to see 99.6% efficiency (and that's on Windows 10).

Thanks for pointing out the point issue. I did not pay much attention to that detail during alpha testing. It appears that the trickle message handler has a bug in calculating the total (multiply by 10, oopps). I have fixed that and have placed that into production now. Your next trickle message should report more accurately.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

Also, if you were one of the lucky few, i have sent out 36 results that were second generations of this beta test. There will be more tomorrow morning of these second generations as they come in.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

Your next trickle message should report more accurately. Yup, 3,496.5 became 349.6. |
