The one showing on the website is UTC date+time, the one in your client is UTCdate+time converted to your local machine's setting, that's the one you go by.

The validator on this test has been paused at times for multiple hours. No reason given, wild guess, to accumulate a bunch of work units and then create the next generation WUs in one go.
Though the result distribution header says "Minimum Quorum: 1", it's understood this to always be 1, linguists will probably tell you it's nonsense. http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/roberts-rules-for-defining-a-quorum.html . How replication is computed in BOINC is another miracle of counting. For the super micro-managers, though I don't think this overrides the "don't need, cache full". Hitting update while selecting WCG will 'request' work from WCG even though it's really not it's turn if you have more than one active project attached to the client:
<fetch_on_update></fetch_on_update> There were some bugged point releases that actually would fetch 1 unit at the time, again and again and again, but that's for the silly who want to over-commit their client(s).When updating a project, request work even if not highest priority project. +New in 7.0.54 Anyway if this works, please keep it a [public] secret.  |

I realize that run-time projections can be very wrong. The unusual thing on this was that after the reboot on all 6 beta WU's I had at the time, the time between steps nearly doubled. They reached 50% in about 5.5-6 hours, but then ended up taking around 17-19 hours each to complete. Thanks, Ed I looked into this more and found that all off the beta's I've gotten have finished in 11.xx hours, unless there's a reboot in the middle. This has happened on two different machines. I think there's a real issue here and it's not just me. On the 31st midnight status update shows 39 result returned consisting of 0:032:03:17:12 run-time. This could be an indication that this Beta is coming to a close. I am hopeful it's not. I wish all those well hunting for Beta tasks

More likely it's because the Beta validator wasn't re-enabled before the stats run. It has been re-enabled now. Also, some more Beta units have just downloaded here. |
