What happens to an Ebola task if 4 or more users return errors? I understand that each task represents a molecule that is a drug candidate, correct? If the job is terminated with no valid result for whatever reason, then what happens to the drug candidate represented by that job?

After 5 errors they go to the take-out list. If the max error copies occurs on Android, one more try is done on I think Linux.

Thank you. What happens to items on the “take-out” list? More precisely, what happens to the candidate molecules represented by those tasks?

Get passed to the scientists/project owners. What they do with them, they could tell.

Okay.
----------------------------------------I hope that they don't discard a promising candidate molecule just because somebody had reset the project or aborted a task after having device issues or a power surge while the device was plugged-in and other people who got the task had incompatible software versions, etc. [Edit 1 times, last edit by jonathandl at Jun 25, 2015 3:32:20 PM] |

That is why it distinguishes between an error, a no reply, and aborted task, and why it has to error on 5 computers before getting removed. Don't worry mate :)
