A first pass look, of what seems to be a pure re-org / redescribe the local preferences and 'Advanced View' [AV] menu restructure. The exclusive app screen was moved to a separate menu option [which generated a fully populated cc_config.xml].

Nothing seems to have changed in functionality, network and computing schedule now combined on one tab, still allowing a to/from across midnight to set for instance 6PM to 8AM for office crunchers and use overrides to compute 0-24 during weekends [exampled in screenshot].

A new menu option was added to pick which columns to show in the AV tabs and you can reorg the column order by dragging them around.

Missed is, I think, to add the CPU time column for the tasks tab [to easily follow the Elapsed-CPU time efficiency ratio] and have 2 time blocks per day in the scheduling, but as this is a first pass no reason to not get your foot into the alpha mail list and propose additions/changes... up to you to take the opportunity now that local prefs are in WIP [and standard BOINC sites getting the same overhaul [can be seen at SETI IIRC... if I read correctly]. Rom Walton/Charlie Fenton are asking for (constructive) comments. Certainly this looks like a substantial improvement in structure and 'understanding' of what the preferences do... first pass, remember

Anyway, some had trouble installing this very first alpha test release from 7.5 to end in some 7.6.x recommended release, but here no issue... Tasks just went on from where they were stopped, a smooth update from 7.4.42 to 7.5.0 [all of 7.5 is alpha, 7.6 will be beta!].
