Which boinc version is more recommendable to install? WCG download section has 7.2.47 but BOINC has 7.4.3.6.

The WCG 7.2.47 is good for WCG and many other projects.
----------------------------------------7.4.36 may be needed for some other projects, such as those needing Virtualisation. Unless you want to contribute to those other projects, suggest use 7.2.47 from WCG. Paul.

Hello portalvasco,
----------------------------------------I have been using 7.4.36 BOINC version and found it to be no different than the one that WCG uses. Either one would work fine, but for ease of use and installation the 7.2.47 would be easiest to use, just as PMH UK mentioned. ![]() |
