When trying to predict project end dates I always remember this from Sekerob:

When trying to predict project end dates I always remember this from Sekerob: "Big Thumb Warning: Staring at this chart and crystal ball can cause mild to considerable discomfort!" well, yes...for someone who didn't develop a frontal brain power, it's like going in circles... so, why? to decide if & when to switch to another projects...in hunt for (insignificant) badges! & to all those who think is insane?! well, it is! badges don't have any value...but donating more than 5y in a past 1y old project is enough...like in Life: "I choose which battle to fight, which one to walk out of!"  |

The May 2016 estimated end date is no longer on the progress bar on the Active Research page. Does that mean that that the expected completion is farther out than that or is there another explanation?

The May 2016 estimated end date is no longer on the progress bar on the Active Research page. Does that mean that that the expected completion is farther out than that or is there another explanation? Cheers well: 1. MCM got a longer WUs...so that impacted OET WU execution! 2. FAHB got a larger weight on server, 'cause so much people abandoned the project on their PCs... those are what I know of...what else, maybe WCG staff can tell more?!  |

----------------------------------------The explanation states that the bug affected other projects too. That is why OET1 has a different completion date and percentage now. Nothing changed. But as far as I remember (even tho my wife says that I don't remember almost anything), the OET1 estimate based on number of units available/processed was quite in sync with previous progress indicator (before the last fix) and estimated to end in May.
