Runaway beta?

Saw this morning I got a OET beta task. All seemed to be going fine until a few minutes ago. % complete jumped from 10-20% but time remaining jumped from 4 hours to 26 hours and is going up. Expected behavior or should I kill it?

Re: Runaway beta?

Yeah that appears to the behavior of some of the betas.

Not sure whether you should cancel or not.

No, do not cancel it/them. Yesterday I got 4 of such tasks, all of them went from 90%+ to 10% and at the end of the crunching 3 of them went Valid and one Invalid.

So, keep the fire alive wink

Re: Runaway beta?

Thank you! % complete is increasing in 10% increments and time remaining is dropping faster than elapsed time is increasing although it seems to jumps at the time % complete increases. Messy - I hope it goes through and they can learn something from it.
