I also encountered a similar case, though in my case I received no credit at all.
I had a WU that ran for nearly 47 hours: BETA_ OET1_ 0000307_ xEBGP-OM_ rig_ 1628_ 1-- IBM-9GANAU8GUXW Error 12/2/14 07:40:58 12/5/14 00:47:18 46.91 / 51.63 17.1 / 0.0 It failed with the following: Result Log Result Name: BETA_ OET1_ 0000307_ xEBGP-OM_ rig_ 1628_ 1-- <core_client_version>6.10.58</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> Maximum elapsed time exceeded </message> <stderr_txt> INFO: No state to restore. It's not my fault that the WU exceeded the maximum elapsed time allowed. |

Starlight - you ran into some anti-cheat code. It becomes a real pain especially during Beta tests. If any unit exceeds some magical amount of run time the points are reduced to 19.1 or so.
----------------------------------------gdlxn - You will be credited for the work. Probably already have. There is a script that runs to grant credit on Beta work that failed due to problems not the fault of the user. |

Hi everybody,
----------------------------------------my machines computed about 80 beta WU for OET. The large majority of the WU was OK. But I did also experience the mentioned strange effect, see below: BETA_ OET1_ 0000307_ xEBGP-OM_ rig_ 1693_ 2-- Valid 22.35 17.1 / 242.4 <me BETA_ OET1_ 0000307_ xEBGP-OM_ rig_ 1693_ 1-- Error 24.27 17.1 / 0.0 BETA_ OET1_ 0000307_ xEBGP-OM_ rig_ 1693_ 0-- Valid 15.01 467.7 / 242.4 The machine is an AMD Phenom IIx6, 3 GHz, running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS x64, for WCG only. A couple of times, I did also observe using boincstats a 0% CPU efficiency at report time even if the CPU efficiency was over 99% during computation. But there was no significant negative impact on granted credits. Cheerrs, Yves ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by KerSamson at Dec 6, 2014 10:34:06 AM] |

I quit trying to run resends of betas that had already failed 3 or more times on other computers. A complete waste of time IMHO. Aborted at least 50.

It is not a waste of time to crunch resends. I got some too and all of theme completed and validated.
