Keith was just checking whether you'd notice devilish


My math is somewhat correct when you consider sections of the grid :) With a new application version, every host is considered not reliable and requires to be verified, even though I set the quorum to 1, after the first result is sent to a host before being validated, it gets a second result sent for validation. Thus 11,000 results to be sent :),

Out of complete interest. If runtimes are 15 to 20 minutes what are download and upload sizes like?

I received 6 units. The one I received for Windows showed both CPU time and elapsed time. The other 5 units were on Linux machines. 4 out of the 5 have been returned. They show elapsed time but no CPU time. However looking in the result log, shows CPU times being recorded per internal task. The tasks in the WU themselves of which there appear to be about 16/18 all run 2 minutes or less, many less than a minute on low end XEON 53xx/54xx processors with Linux Mint 16.

Aha, few iterations in alpha and the result log tells the reason may be the use of a tried and tested science engine. Will be the 4th or 5th project using this application? The 3 passing did about 25 minutes each. Variable job content, 7, 10 and 7 suggestion there's an automated task sizer in play. Really like consistent runtimes, the credit 'system' too. whistling

got 61 wus, all of them returned after what seems to be a normal run and are now in PV state. Run time between 0.17 and 0.65 hours.
