Two older PCs fail WUs at startup so suspect they don't have something required.

Got 2 and finished them in under 15 CPU minutes.

Got one, finished in around 14 minutes, normal checkpointing and correct restore from last checkpoint - I paused the WU several times with LAIM=off

Completed one on a Q6600 running Linux Mint 15. Took 9m52s of CPU time, but upon completion the CPU time only showed 02 seconds with elapsed time of 10m12s.

One appears suspicious, CPU increasing but no checkpoints and progress stuck at .555%
----------------------------------------Edit: Just reached 1.111% at 40 mintues CPU. Edit2: Now 5% after 3 hours so 60 hour run time... Edit3: Now 30% after 14 hours and checkpointed an hour ago. Does this: @Halbarath: No, I'm sure we'll be credited eventually. The validators for the Beta units are also off at the moment but usually get enabled a few days later. The assimilators being off is a new one for me, but it may imply that the results are retained in the WCG database for longer, for testing and analysis purposes, rather than being forwarded to the researchers.Also, please note that the assimilator will be disabled for this beta test. mean, that we don't get credited for the work units returned? |
