Thanks. I thought so. I asked this because of KWSN's post where he actually knew he had signed up someone but had to ask about it here.

I am not sure I have anyone yet, but it is clearly not something that happens automatically.

Just sayin' :-D

Re: Recruitment Badges - In Poor Taste ?

I had my first person sign up today. It appeared pretty quickly as Pending.

Re: Recruitment Badges - In Poor Taste ?

I have 10 people signed up.
4 are listed as active, 4 are pending and 2 are inactive.

The badge doesn't show in the forums :(

The first person I signed up never appeared. The two subsequent show as active and pending. Guess something wasn't done properly on the first one.

As I never expect to reach silver, I'm not too worried about it.

Re: Recruitment Badges - In Poor Taste ?

I dont see anything inherently wrong with recruitment badges. I dont think it is so much "convincing" people to join as it is just spreading the word to others and letting them decide if they want to do it. perhaps "recruitment" is the wrong word for it... something more like "publicity badge" or "awareness badge" or something along thoes lines?

Thank you for the suggestion. We have added it to the 'wish list' for forum improvements.

Re: Recruitment Badges - In Poor Taste ?

Far from the first time this being suggested [Though as I understand the system, a badge like this has no persistence... you have to remain active as does the recruited]. Maybe we members could adopt a protocol of opening a specific topic for a feature addition, enhancement to always be put into the suggestions/feedback thread, broken out from discussions? This way ideas on improvements don't go unseen, lost in threads.
