Hi
----------------------------------------I'm wondering if anything can be done regarding teams that are left without an effective captain. The Linux team is a case in point, where its captain's last contribution was made almost a decade ago, and lasted only a few months at that. Furthermore, the captain has declined to receive e-mails from members, leaving no means of contact. In such cases, teams are left with effectively no leader, and with no means to keep the team details up-to-date. This is quite pertinent in the case of the Linux team, where its description was quite clearly conjured with haste (description: "what need be said??"), and may well be putting off new members from joining. Perhaps a means of retiring captains after lengthy periods might be helpful, allowing teams to take control over and inject some life back into teams (especially with prominent names)? I'd appreciate any thoughts on the matter. Thanks |

With regard to your comments re team communication etc, WCG in their response to the 2013 Member Survey said:

We hope to address this....
