Because no other project keeps the same amount of data for audit purposes.....right back to the start nearly 10 years ago

Twice a day we get this excuse! Come on WCG, no other project has this restriction in accessing ones profile or settings.Disappointing the 'how many can show this' man did not pick up on the 'twice a day'. What, has wcg regressed to before 2007? Only know of this being shown during -part- of the midnight stats building.  |

Search Results for: update When are points and statistics updated? World Community Grid points and statistics are updated twice a day. This occurs at 00:00 and 12:00 UTC. This includes all statistics on World Community Grid except for Team Statistics. |

Yup, you're always looking for the escape clause
 , but he was complaining about twice a day "The page you requested is currently unavailable because the statistics are being updated". Presume in your waking hours you've noticed the midday stats do not lock you out.  |

At my advanced age and decrepit state 1200 GMT is smack in the middle of my lunchtime nap in the conservatory so I am totally oblivious at that time. I will try and make an effort to stay awake and find out what goes on

Resolutely stayed awake and tried everything between 1200-1300, no sign of any loss of service.......then fell asleep!

There was no need for 'resolutely stayed awake' and disrupt your routine, as another faq at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=103247 says
'Respective 1/2) above,, the unavailable time period only applies to the 00:06 UTC stats. My Contributions remains open during the 12:06 UTC statistics update.' It's all printed, 'cept the reading often falls hard flat on it's face |
