Just noticed that my x86 android hudl2 started getting tasks from seti@home beta,must be a new batch, I will crunch those on this tab for now,hopefully it will help lead to more projects supporting x86 androids.

I think the possibility of an x86 Android app will come once 2 things happen.
----------------------------------------1. Google supports a true 64bit version of Android. 2. More server grade chips start utilizing ARM processors like AMD is starting to do. Once the first step is complete, then many people may consider running Android VM's on their Windows PC's. That would more than likely see the same gain as Linux boxes since it is the Linux kernel and it would be a very small install with the option for automatic updates to the client. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
