Just before midnight stats were run the BOINC transitioner encountered an error. This will affect users from seeing results validating after they have been returned. I am working on a solution at the moment to fix the transitioner but there is no ETA on when this will be completed. I will try to keep everyone informed here.

I forgot to mention, but if you want to, increase your buffer for WCG to 1 day. There is a chance I will need to take the BOINC database down.

Yes, it is still down. I am testing a fix right now on my development server. Once these tests are done and they complete successfully, I will make an announcement about making the same changes on production.

Ok, Just to give everyone a heads up, it appears that I will be taking down the BOINC database in about 8 hours from now. That would be 3PM UTC or 10AM CST. I will be posting something in the News soon.

Scribe thanks, to do the maintenance I need to be rested. I will start them a few hours after i get started, I have some tests on my development machine still running which should have results back in about 4 hours.

FYI, so far my tests from last night came back positive. I have another team member checking my work before I start the change. Looks like the 1500 UTC change will be on schedule.
