Are other people getting lots of errors on running Grid jobs on Android> This is getting pretty annoying running jobs for several hours and getting no credit for them. Not sure if the problem is with the devices or the projects.

What version of BOINC are you running on your Android?
My error rate went way down when I upgraded to BOINC 7.3.17 on my Nexus 7. |

7.3.12 is the latest one in Google Store. From where you have gotten .17?

Actually you can get it where you fetch all other archived versions of the agent, then download it and temp permit the install of non google play software in the security settings. Return the setting to block, for your own safety. There are pfishing mail clickers on the prowl sending apps that on face cannot be distincted from the original.
----------------------------------------Only getting the incidental signal 11, no 195 /signal 9 at all, but the rate of copies needed, well over 6, meaning the succes rate is below 20%, is enough to not do wcg. It's hoarding resources of volunteers without return, good results. All other projects run flawless, and now nearing the first year of wcg on android it's time to say goodbye to the playground and get earnest about fixing this. The battery draining even when on charger not helping, which means never run more cores than allows to maintain 100% charge. If you don't, the agent goes into a perpetual suspend/resume cycle and that does break tasks, for me at least, and probably shortens the battery life too. There's a long history at wcg if you search of tasks not doing well on 'frequent' resuming, eventually croaking. Not what we've signed up for.
