boinc @debian wheezy, uploaded but not reported

Hello,

since the activation of the previous win7 failed (phone call my ***, I'm deaf), I switched the node to debian wheezy amd64. Installation went fine via netinst without a GUI. The 7.0 client was installed from the repo and ran nicely for the first five tasks (Phenom X6 1090T). They where reported, shows up in stats, yadda yadda. Only thing I noticed was the considerably shorter runtime per Mapping Cancer Markers WU. On Windows it took approx. 4:10h each, on Debian I'm looking at 2:30 to 3:10hrs each.

But since 1600 UTC yesterday, when the 5th result was uploaded and reported, I'm sitting on 23 uploaded, but not reported WUs. Under Windows on the exact same rig everything went smooth for weeks. Also I don't get new WUs on this rig, the existing ones will be done in some hours.

The manager is running on my workstation and connects to the debian-node just fine.

Help is much appreciated...

Greetings

Is there any other option to configure this behaviour? It does only report when I update the project. W/o reports no new tasks... Not cool since this one probably needs to run for up to two months without user actions.

I re-checked and compared the connection settings, they're the same between my Win7 workstation (which does report just fine) and the Wheezy node. Which means no limits whatsoever.

Re: boinc @debian wheezy, uploaded but not reported

Hello marbus90,
It is supposed to report at least once every 24 hours. Is it failing? Each report generates a time-consuming database operation on the server so BOINC tries to bunch a number of reports into each database operation.

Re: boinc @debian wheezy, uploaded but not reported

Hi,

I'm going to keep an eye on it. Last manual report was yesterday on 20:38 UTC, already WUs piling up... But I'm gonna wait.

In the meantime on my workstation (times in UTC +2)
03.04.2014 21:59:29 | World Community Grid | Reporting 1 completed tasks
03.04.2014 23:44:37 | World Community Grid | Reporting 1 completed tasks

04.04.2014 09:39:15 | World Community Grid | Reporting 3 completed tasks
04.04.2014 10:47:21 | World Community Grid | Reporting 1 completed tasks

Even my lame server reports w/o hassle:
04.04.2014 02:24:12 | World Community Grid | Reporting 2 completed tasks
04.04.2014 10:11:45 | World Community Grid | Reporting 2 completed tasks

Well, I would like to configure it to report every 5 to 10 finished WUs, not after 1 or 2. Or at least every 12hrs at 9 o'clock.

Greetings

Re: boinc @debian wheezy, uploaded but not reported

Workstation and Server are running the latest Windows 64bit client, which reports as 7.2.42.

The Node has the debian boinc package, which is described as version 7.0.27+dfsg-5 on packages.debian.org.
