- Go here,
- click on your Profile,
- scroll down to "Project Specific Settings" part,
- select "3" from dropdown menu of "Number of workunits per host for The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2?",
- click "Save"

Cheers peace

Re: how to get 2 tasks on one boinc

CEP2 is a very i/o-intensive project where the bottleneck will be the disk-i/o. My advice to avoid these bottlenecks is to let run BOINC with more than four CEP2-tasks within a ramdisk (assuming enough RAM exist).

Greetings, Pilgerlein

Re: how to get 2 tasks on one boinc

well im not interested in putting it on my ssd. right now its on my spare hdd that is use for storage, so boinc has no I/o competition. as I shut off my computer at night I think a ram disk would be more trouble then its worth (I do have the extra ram). whats the run time gain of a ram disk over a hdd?

Re: how to get 2 tasks on one boinc

Hi Benjamin Stundze,
RAM disks are horribly complicated for relatively small gain. If you run on Linux, it runs faster and without I/O problems - an easier fix if you are bothered.
