Hello l_mckeon,
Hey, I thought we were supposed to get three days to crunch the urgent jobs? 30% of 7 days is 50 hours and 24 minutes. Look at this post: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...ead,36058_offset,0#443859I just got three tasks this morning and one last week with a ~50 hour deadline. Lawrence |

Hello l_mckeon, Hey, I thought we were supposed to get three days to crunch the urgent jobs? 30% of 7 days is 50 hours and 24 minutes. Look at this post: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...ead,36058_offset,0#443859I just got three tasks this morning and one last week with a ~50 hour deadline. Lawrence The message from knreed at the top of this thread says 35%. Even that would be a little easier to handle at just short of 2 days and eleven hours. https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=441613 I normally run for 14 or 15 hours a day, so I'll have to extend my normal operating time a little to make sure the 27+ hour WU gets finished. I know you want to get the batches completed, but you're pushing it. |

We had to reduce the deadline from 35% -> 30% while we were working through some issues earlier this week. However, we are looking better now and I will restore it back to 35%. This will effect newly issued high reliability jobs.

Since there is lots of conversation regarding completing batches of work in this thread I think this is right place to ask this question. How other batches sent back to the research?
