I had one WU, suspend restart with LIAM off, resumed fine from previous checkpoint, long units, as Uplinger suggested about 8X estimate and since I am still running BOINC 6.10.58 I now have estimates of over 32 hours for regular FAHV tasks but it was definetly worth it to get me closer to my silver BETA badge.

Doing 2 now, they arrived with 4 days deadline, so were in no particular self-propelling rush to jump ahead in the 1 day queue. Done the various nasties, but all I could get them to do is go back to the last checkpoint and resume from there. Running with 99.7% efficiency, so no complaints in that department.

I'd be happy to spare that extra minute as price for a slightly lower efficiency. |

unfortunately, I have only hooked one Vina Beta WU and that's on my work PC and I have no access to it over a w/e (as its miles away from home) - a small request to Techs, please don't (if at all possible) issue Beta's on Fridays as 6 got snagged by a PC that has been turned off for the weekend and I'm unable to stress test other WU's!! Typically, no Betas were allocated to my home PC's that I have total control over in the evenings and weekends!!!

18 hours in on a couple of them and they're over 62%. Looks plausible to finish in a reasonable amount of time.

All done with mine. The ones that were adding "time left" finished sometime during the night.

- a small request to Techs, please don't (if at all possible) issue Beta's on Fridays IMO Fridays are the best time to run Betas. Most people are off, so there is more time monitor & shake the Beta tree. The best option is only run betas on those systems which you always have access to, either directly or via remote access. “Where an excess of power prevails, property of no sort is duly respected. No man is safe in his opinions, his person, his faculties, or his possessions.” – James Madison (1792) |

Which devices are suited to be enrolled for beta is one discussion, so happens these got on Friday later a 4 day deadline, so Monday is soon enough, even Tuesday morning... was that planned ;?

Didn't notice any problems with the restart, unit behaved and went on to complete and validate. Three more in PV but don't expect any probs with them validating either.

I have 2 running. I am experiencing long times between checkpoints. Otherwise, the restart without LAIM worked correctly.

Still three of my five chugging along. No problems noticed including rebooting the computer. Two look to finish around 24 hours, one is projecting out to 36 hours total run time.
