DCFs? With v7, there's only 1 DCF forced by WCG to a value of 1.000000 for the very reason to prevent TTCs to go haywire. The task that finished in 1:18 started with an estimated runtime of 6.5 hours. I would say that DCF wasn't even close.

received 7x 7.22 and 1x 7.21
7.21 again keeps restarting 7.22 look fine for now |

DCFs? With v7, there's only 1 DCF forced by WCG to a value of 1.000000 for the very reason to prevent TTCs to go haywire. The task that finished in 1:18 started with an estimated runtime of 6.5 hours. I would say that DCF wasn't even close. No, WCG as I said has only 1 DCF and that's enforced for v7 as being with a multiplicator of 1.000000. The servers control the FPOPS in the task headers dynamically based on the times reported on returned work [see posts by uplinger/knreed, former noting that they've modded the way that mechanism works for 7.22 to counter the high variability impact]. Got four Beta 7.22 WUs. So far things are much better than the last 7.21 batch - one is running for nearly one hour now and NO restarts (Yes!). Also getting progress % complete that looks reasonable now. The Beta WU that is running is still showing nearly 10 hours to go (the other three in waiting are showing over 13 hours) so we'll see how long these run in actual clock time. But it does look like we are making good progress with these newer Beta WUs....

The 7.22 units I have seem to be running good but as others mentioned the estimated time remaining is WAY off.

I have four 7.22 tasks that just keep restarting every 10 seconds or so:
Win 8.1 I7-3770K Boinc 7.0.64(x64) I have multiple FAAH tasks and one CEP running at the same time (they have no issues). I have two tasks of Beta 7.22 running normally, without re-starts. One of them for over one hour. I'll keep an eye on them and report if anything changes.

Same problem as Sekerob on my W7-64 bit, continuous restarting until they errored out. The Linux systems are all doing just fine.
