Having had a few 7.21's that all mis-behaved and failed to run at all and I ended up having to abort, that as a result I have now missed out any of the 7.22 WU's......have all the 7.22's been issued now?? I got one.
----------------------------------------Suspending and resuming normally. No more using CPU time while suspended. Progress bar is also moving differently now(small increments rather than 0.5%). Using about 52 MB of memory. Much better now. AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

This one is perpetually restarting with 4 having started simultaneous on W7-64. Suspending all tasks and just releasing one beta 7.22, and still continuously restarting... the "If this happens .... zero status" series ad infinitum. The W7-32 with one runs fine with as does the Linux 7-64 with 3. Do we need the staggered feature for which knreed issued a feature request ticket v.v. CEP2? Yes we need staggered starting, urgently. The system became utterly unresponsive, so booted in the know that 5 CEP2 were running concurrent. Of course, on boot BOINC tried to start jobs in order of initial start time, so 5 CEP2 starting simultaneous again led into an unresponsive system, crashing all tasks with computation error [probably CPU 40 hours blotted], then the 5 more CEP2 tasks ready to start wanted to hop onto the idle cores, which led to stalemate... 15 minutes later, barely progress registered.. 7-15% efficiency, so now sitting here suspending all tasks and waiting for one CEP2 task to checkpoint before releasing the second et cetera et cetera. All 6 cached Beta gone south whilst this went on so none to test till all CEP2 are running again [suspended work blocks fetching]. Have set those log flags [only needed 2 additional as other are standard on, on my setups]. Whence this frust cycle has completed, see if more BETA can be fetched... If you can, point a few at host 1854592. If then the lids have not gone shut, those of the eyes, I'll move them forward and mail or post a log excerpt. Of course, you know Murphy... always taking a ride. Meanwhile the Linx with 4 runs fine, it's done this and the2 previous tests. The W7-32 duo has 2 and running fine as well. It seems the W7-64 8 core is the problem child. edit: Footnote. another odd thing while watching the downloading. On the well behaving systems the 32MB txt file downloaded in under 15 seconds. On the problem system it took over 10 minutes... slow, no freezes. Fearing corruption, stopped BOINC, renamed the txt file, started BOINC which then decided it needed to fetch a new copy, which came in 14 seconds. Go figure. It seems the W7-64 8 core is the problem child. Must be something with you machine Sek. I have several Win7 64 8 core machines running 8 concurrent tasks purring along without a hitch.

I had 72 start within 15 minutes with no problems. Run time estimates are much longer than yesterday (6-8 hours). No problems so far.

@Dataman. DCFs listed for these tasks seem to be way off for the most part and the runtimes seem like they're going to vary a lot. Time will tell.

If you get a chance on the machine that is restarting them can you set a cc_config and turn on task_debug cpu_sched sched_op_debug and cpu_sched_debug. Also maybe up the limit for stdout and see if you see anything interesting when the tasks are restarted. My i5-750 is running 2 FAHV and 2 Beta 7.22. DCFs? With v7, there's only 1 DCF forced by WCG to a value of 1.000000 for the very reason to prevent TTCs to go haywire.

Logs identical to what tonyh205 posted with the extra flags, cycling in 8-10 seconds. Did not see this continuous restarting with 7.19 and 7.21.
