My solar panels produce more energy than I use... so I need to invest in more powerful computers that run WCG !!

I have just double checked with the Second Law of Thermodynamics, and I can confirm my crunch computer is destroying no energy whatsoever.

Joking aside, IBM are acutely conscious of power consumption and green issues of data centres, on the client side, the function of crunch points per kilowatt has been discussed many times.

So the answer is yes.
