I am doing a CEP right now. What I am seeing is no tasks "waiting to start" and I usually have about 8-10. What I am seeing is when one is finished, that CPU waits until the task is uploaded, then 1 task will be downloaded and the CPU runs it. Look on the 'Projects' page within the 'My Grid' area, there is an option at the bottom of the page to set the number of tasks that are downloaded for CEP2. But you probably don't want to set it to 8 if you are only doing CEP2, as it is pretty resource intencive. Read the system requirements before resetting the number of tasks...I have a 8 cpu machine with 8 gig of memory so it crunches a lot.

Due to there being no GPU orientated tasks, I've signed up to GPU Grid, so I can crunch FAaH here, and use my GPU on another project, I like to keep it busy! ;)

Continuing to crunch has hard as my little team can on FAAH WUs while new stuff becomes available to add some variety. I've open my laptop to beta WUs and looking forward to get some maybe later this month or ???? just to see how that end of the WCG world works. If nothing new comes up, I'll just continue crunching towards 2 years for FAAH probably in 2014. All for a very good cause ....

I've gotten a little bored with WCG's lack of new projects, so I want looking and decided to install Folding@Home to make use of my GPUs while leaving my CPU working on WCG.
In doing so I found this AMAZING Stats Page that is independently maintained using F@H stats, and I SOOOOO wish WCG had something similar!!!!! http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ |

Folks, we're getting closer to releasing the new cancer project into beta testing, but we're not quite there yet. We had come across a pretty big issue during testing but we've finally been able to resolve it. We have a handful of bugs remaining and we're working through those aggressively before we go into beta testing. So hang in there, hopefully not long to go now!
