Re: Good morning team.

Bloomin' heck RTS48, that's a lot water. biggrin

Good Morning Everyone.

Sure was a lot of water but being on (very) sandy soil it drains away in no time. At least we are relatively high on the surrounding landscape so flooding is not a problem. Just down the road though (1 km) is a sewage pumping station and you don't want to be near that when heavy rain comes. To say that there are showers of sh1t is an understatement! It's more like a fountain.

Good Morning All.
Packing day today in between practice sessions of F1 at Sao Paulo. So far Lewis Hamilton is over ½ second faster than Nico Rosberg. Can Lewis break his Brazilian duck?

Re: Good morning team.

Good afternoon team,

Glad you made it home genhos, although I suspect you would either be washed off or blown off your bike if you were up in the North East today!

I am working in my converted loft and the wind is howling!

Re: Good morning team.

Was a bit more tricky making it home tonight on the bike, much stronger wind that normal out there. Not really gusting but certain enough to make it much more noticeable, at least the ear ache from the wind whistling down the lugholes has stopped! Around 40mph gusts today mixed with occasional hail showers then clear sky and sunshine then bucketing it down. Can't say that I am envying you being up high in these winds there Cap'n.

@domonijo - no idea but mine is an i7 with a self contained water cooler and is currently around 60 according to one cpu temp program and 55 on another. Not sure how much this will help or hinder?

@RTS - have a safe trip.

Re: Good morning team.

I have an i7 without water cooling and I have had to throttle it back to using only 70% processor power. Otherwise it was around 90c. The other i7 is water cooled and runs at around 56c

Re: Good morning team.

My i7 is air-cooled, about 65C at full load (or closer to 60C if I put the crazy-loud 5400rpm fan on it instead).

That's with a Thermalright TRUE-120 heatsink and either the Scythe "Gentle Typhoon" 3200rpm or the 5400rpm version - I can safely say there is nothing "Gentle" about them! biggrin
