Congrats Clockwork
---------------------------------------- , now on to the next 10millionscol5913 - I think you are the first of the forum regulars to get the new badge A cool day here with promise of substantial rain (bring it on!). However the weeds grow faster than the planted shrubs and flowers so I foresee a lot of work. RTS48 - it is strange how weeds always seem to grow faster than the flowers. |

----------------------------------------RTS48 - it is strange how weeds always seem to grow faster than the flowers. We have some very pretty weeds here with profuse electric pink and yellow flowers. They also attract butterflies so I am setting aside an area to grow them. Eventually I will add some photographs to my web albums. We also have 2 (natural) beehives in my garden. Not the big buzzing stinging variety, these are 'lady bees' (Abeja seƱora) that don't sting (but they do bite!). They are only 2mm long and, so far, have eluded my attempts at photographing them. I weeded my 50m border today and need some back liniment. Failing that a Thai massage (fat chance of that here).

Morning team!
----------------------------------------![]() These FA@H2 work-units really do seem low-priority, I've downloaded about 10 of them but it's refusing to start all but one of them for now, despite the shorter deadline and long estimated run-time. Will see how they get on, over the next day or two. ![]() |

I picked up 2 more FAH2 WUs yesterday and both started immediately, but there again they were WUs with the shortest deadline of all of my WUs. I 'may' get my Bronze badge tomorrow but my user average continues to plummet largely owing to the low hourly rate of points (15 for FAH2 as opposed to 20 for OET)

Well, I have abandoned FAAH2, taking too long for not many points and seeming to raise CPU temps (75C as opposed to usual 61C).

I agree FAAH2 WUs are too long and the short due dates make it worse but I am still running it for a few more days.
But I've not had the rise in cpu temps you have had. Also what are running as I am using an I7 2600 at 3.5 Ghz with a Be quiet cooler in an old case with only a rear fan, running at 40 to 44 degrees. |

Will see what the points-values are like, once I've successfully submitted a good handful of results (ie. once I have the first badge, at least), but I'm not seeing any significant rises in temperatures on my graphing.
