Evening all.
----------------------------------------I hope the new project starts with lots of work available, at least better than OET. Just passed 10 years RT for the team. Nice going scol5913 Picked up one of the new FAH units at work today. Was a bit surprised as I thought I had set that one to just run OET but obviously not. It's got an estimate of around 17hrs so I'm hoping it will complete before it's deadline in the 2 work days, unless the computer switches itself on which it does do from time to time. No idea why. |

Also nice to see Patomlinson01 visiting the team thread. As always, any questions or if you fancy a bit of a chinwag, drop a post here.

Good Evening Team (although actually it's Good Morning for you). As predicted my Global Run Time / Project has dropped but I have 7 FAH2 WUs under way. I suspect it is a slow start (like OET) and we will be inundated soon. Looks like the FAH2 WUs are going to take around 24 hours, I hope they put out some smaller ones as the points tally does not seem to be very good with long WUs.

Reading the Fah2 forums the WUs will be of long duration with short due dates which would seem to be aimed at curtain members, am I the only one who finds this a little strange.

Good Morning All. It looks like the FAH2 WUs are working in serial mode in that the next WUs depend on your results for the previous WUs. As long as FAH2 does not swamp OET (at least until I get my 10 year diamond badge) all will be OK by me. The short deadlines may be a problem when I get internet outage here.

Evening all.
----------------------------------------It is certainly odd to see a unit with a long runtime with a short (relatively short for WCG work) deadline. The one FAH2 unit at work won't complete on time as it is still due to take around 9 more hours to complete and only 7 hours of office work time on Monday before it reaches its deadline time. Ah well, at least what I have processed should still be usable from what I read about the project and not a total waste. |
