Re: No display on Ubuntu

Update on silliness/problem. Uninstalled client front end and installed again from software repository. Working at the moment, so we will see, or not. Have never liked questions that do not really have answers, I leave that to the guild of philosophers and modern day spin artists. wink

Re: No display on Ubuntu

Good Morning All. Another scorching day forecast here. More planting and weeding today with a lawn trim possible in the late afternoon.

My user average has turned spectacularly positive with all computers showing an upward trend. I'm still only crunching OET and heading for my 10 year diamond. 2 years of CPU time to go!

Same here, although I have 5 BETA tasks running, 3 Hours for 12% of work done and 16 hours remaining.

Re: No display on Ubuntu

Well, it looks like the rebuilt server still isn't working properly, as the CPU-load drops to about half of what I'd expect, roughly every hour (see below link for the graph-image):

I've raised it with the provider, let's see what they come back with.

Re: No display on Ubuntu

Nice going RTS. That looks like a realistic OET target. Go get 'em!

Domoniio - the 1 unit I picked up from the current beta run was also due to be a 20+hr runtime but I think it was stopped before being 100% complete.

That does seem strange Thargor. Hopefully they can find out why the cpu drops like that and resolve the issue.

Mamaj - hope all is well and you drop by here soon.

I've heard rumblings at work that the machine I use may be on for a hardware update. This is something I've heard a couple of times before so here's hoping this one is actually true praying

Re: No display on Ubuntu

It's taking ages for my points to get to 10,000,000. Getting there slowly though...

Re: Good morning team.

Well, that's my server handed back to the provider so they can stress-test the CPUs for a good few hours. Hopefully, that will find the issue and they can give some better hardware as a replacement.
