Strange you should say maintenance, as that what I used to do. See, old habits die hard. Those old skills never leave you and have served you well. I'm assuming your maintenance skills were on something a little larger than a computer fan but, it's the principle. (Or something like that!) RTS48 - does look like a lovely home you've got there with a fabulous view. No wonder you need the ride-on lawnmower though, that garden is going to take some time to look after. Given that you have only been in for a few months it does look like you are getting on well with your big project. Only seen a peacock a couple of times at a local village restaurant which had a few chickens, cats, some grouse type bird that squeaked as it moved and a male peacock who was a show off, always spreading out his feathers "look at me, look at me!" Got taken to Ostrich World up in Cumbria quite a few years ago, crikey do they look aggressive, they had to be kept at a safe distance and in order to feed them you had to put the food down a tube just so didn't get your fingers attacked. If I get my camera out then my cat gives me a very similar look to yours. And as for the wildlife in my back yard, well at 3am today it was two neighbours cats have a full on fight. Joy ![]() The first two fights ended when I put the light on but for their third fight I did give them a gentle vocal "go away". |

Good Morning Team.
----------------------------------------Gardening and cooking day today!. Firstly a batch of Bolognese and Provençal sauces for spaghetti dishes (or Lasagne) then on with the weeding and possibly some seed planting. It's great here - you buy seeds cheap from UK garden centres because they are past their 'Plant By' dates and then add 6 months to those dates and plant them here.

The fact that it saves a bit of money also helps. And always nice to have some home grown food, today was home grown beans and carrots to go with Sunday lunch, very nice. Plenty more beans to come too, looking another good crop he's got. |

The problem is that no-one grows their own as fresh (seasonal) vegetables are so widely available and cheap here. OK they may not be the 'supermarket' uniform size and colour but that is by far outweighed by the taste. Add to that about 50+ varieties of potato and 10+ varieties of maize for the carbohydrates and Beef and Pork at less than £5 a kilo and you have a recipe (pun intended) for serious weight gain!

Good afternoon team.
----------------------------------------Hope everyone is keeping well. Having a little break from rendering so performance is up a little. I have also added a new Atom based Surface 3 to the fleet. A crunching machine it is not but a few extra completed work units are always appreciated.

Good morning everyone.
![]() I am running down outstanding tasks prior to upgrade to Win 10 (crazy, impetuous eejit that I am) . If all goes well I should be up and running properly by midday tomorrow. |
