Hi Adrian,

When looking at your Results page, have you look under: Pending Validation / Pending Verification ect (basically all the options in the drop-down box on the "Result Status" Filter), to see if your returned Work Units are there?   |

Well, I took my crunching PC offline. I have been watching closely each day and many of the smaller work units completed are never reported or given credit/points. Several days in the last 2 weeks I have had short OET and FAH units complete, get reported and vanish. Contribution history shows many days with only 1 job done when 4 or 5 have run and reported. Looking at the stats the numbers have not gone up in relation to work run. The team are loosing points, I am wasting electricity running a machine 24/7 and the work simply disappearing. Has anybody else noticed this issue? To be honest I don't keep track of my work units these days and just assume all is well!

Good morning all,
----------------------------------------I have been well and truly bitten by the 4k bug! I upgraded my tv last night to 65" of 4k curved goodness. To say I am impressed would be an understatement, and that is with normal HD content. Can't wait for 4k content to come along, although I think a storage upgrade will be needed. I am also upgrading my internet to 152Mb next week as I am sure the extra bandwidth will come in handy!

Hi Adrian, Apologies if you have tried this or if this has already been covered before? Hi, Yes I have and there is nothing in any other filter. I have watched units complete and then not appear in results. My run time is reported as low as 4 hours some days. The PC runs 24/7 100% dedicated to WCG and there is no " catch up" in following days, the work is running but the hours are wrong. On April 26th I had a unit finish early morning, then 2 OET and 2 FAVH units each @ one hour jobs completed, next run was a 12 hour MCM which was reported okay, I was expecting at least 4 jobs for that day, only one has ever shown. Those 4 short units vanished. The same has been seen other days since. I also took note of the individual result totals for each project, FAVH is short of 8 units, OET is short of 6 , MCM 3 . |

I am also upgrading my internet to 152Mb next week as I am sure the extra bandwidth will come in handy! Thats what I'm on with Vermin Media. VM usually give you a 'free' boost of about 10%, so you should hit around 167mb down. If you're a heavy downloader (like I am), VM have an annoying habit of managing traffic at certain times for certain applications. If I was to download something right now, I'd hit about 167mb. But, if I was to try at around 8pm, I'd be lucky to see 100mb. VM won't admit what they do, but it's obvious! I get all my downloads from a premium newsgroup, which can handle any speed!  |
