That's great news. I joined a few months ago, and I have to say, you're a great community. Wish I'd discovered you earlier.

@ dcrobinson
----------------------------------------Good to hear from you! The only action the Team can take to attract new members is by keeping this thread at the forefront of the Recent Threads listing in the hope that unattached users will happen upon it while casually browing the forum. Also I remain convinced that we have team members who joined the Team when initially signing up to WCG but never found their way to the thread and since 99 times out of 100 the default option to withold email address is selected, we have no way of interacting with them. Improvements have been promised but the development pipeline is oh so long. In case you missed the post a few days ago I currently show ~263 days (late September) until your Globe Sig turns Ruby. ![]() |

Yeah, I was in the UK BOINC team for a while (splitters), and my own team (of one) for years (under the forlorn and misguided hope that loads of people called "Dave" would join team "The Daves"). Shame I can't transfer the 5 years of units across.
----------------------------------------Not too bothered about the Ruby globe, although nice to have something to look forward to! What I really want is a Diamond badge for CEP2, but I don't have the horsepower to churn through lots of CEP2 units. I've had to retire my work laptop from CEP2, because the SSD is suspiciously down to <40% life remaining, whereas my colleague (who does much the same job but without CEP2) is still up in the 90s. I suspect CEP2 will finish before I get there (it's going to take me a year I reckon) ![]()
