Busted

Once again I'm going to have to manually adjust the figures when the problem is resolved.

gb009761 reported that the problem with the server started after 20:13:25 UTC and the last UK Team activity was logged at 20:41:40 UTC. Even with the loss of 3 hours reporting time the team had returned 1:009:13:49:31 RunTime so it was shaping up to be a good day!

When WCG look back at this problem I hope they look into why, despite their automated checks, it was 6 hours before a (genuine) server problem posted in the forum came to the attention of the tech staff.

Making the point in another thread about the overshoot in the CEP2 server migration I couldn't resist using that hackneyed phrase so beloved of politicians:

From the News article Temporary pause of the Clean Energy Project

We will update you on the status of the migration by posting updates to this article.

It seems the new Communications features and their implementation are still not entirely fit for purpose! wink

Updates to the status of the migration should automitically include an update if completion is delayed beyond the original target.

Acccording to cleanenergy's original post the target for complation was Monday evening and yet 12+ hours later and no update has been forthcoming.

There' s something strange in the team activity in the last 4 hours d oh

Only 23 members uploaded results in the 4 hours 20:00 - 24:00 and they were all in the hour 23:00-24:00, nothing in the preceding 3 hours.

I would normally expect to see ~40 in that time.

Hopefully the total stats for the day will be unaffected.

And it's still strange this morning! sad

The team has registered no activity since 00:05:32 UTC.

Possibly it's still processing the monthly task referred to by uplinger here

Check your My Statistics link for Last Result Returned (UTC)

Clearly something is amiss. My own Last Result Returned (UTC) shows 06/05/14 23:04:27 yet work has been returned regularly through the night and this morning and I would have expected to see an update at 08:00 UTC (09:00 BST) with the next due at 11:00 UTC

Didn't happen at 11:00 UTC Waiting now for the noon update!
