Hello RussellBest good to see you checking the Team thread.
----------------------------------------![]() @ arkangath Also check your Device Profile (under Setting top right of this page). Project Specific Settings Number of workunits per host for The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2? (towards the bottom of the page) A lot of problems surrounding CEP2 work can be overcome by setting this to something other than 1. If running multiple CEP2 WUs at a time causes problems for your machine you can restrict this by adding a line to an app_config file. |

35 days RT to go for my first Sapphire badge (for FAAH). Should take about 3-4 weeks as I'm running with a 3 project mix.
----------------------------------------It would be nice if one or more of HFCC, SN2S or CfCW would restart in that time as I don't want to be reduced to a MCM1/CEP2 mix. Of course a new project would also be welcome but nothing has been suggested, hinted at or speculated on, in this respect so it seems unlikely. I note that jhindo did say ....we're focusing our efforts on things like adding more research projects.... in a post earlier in Scribe's MVN Forum Software thread but I don't regard that as indicating anything of immediate significance. |

I wouldn't mind seeing HFCC return, I would Seriously have liked taking that to 10 years, but not a new project, not yet, I'm too busy trying to hit 15 years for MCM1 & FA@H first and that will take a whole lotta time.... Taking a new project just to 5 years will divert too many resources away from achieving those goals.

Collatz project update: offline since 2014-01-19 01:46:10
----------------------------------------The Collatz server is currently down due to a hard drive controller failure. New hardware should arrive in the next day or two. A complete rebuild of the operating system, BOINC, and the Collatz software and project setup will then need to be done prior to the project coming back online. As this will be a complete rebuild, there is no sense hanging on to any completed workunits at this time. So, go ahead and abort any workunits you have whether they are complete or not. I expect the project will remain down for the next 10-15 days while I set it all back up and test it. Sorry for any inconvenience. And yes, I will make up for the lost credits once everything is back up and running. |

Talking of restarting projects I'd be happy if any of the 3 intermediate projects started back up. Say No to Schistosoma I'd be working towards sapphire, but for Computing for Clean Water and Help Fight Childhood Cancer I've done nothing for so would allow me to put some RT towards new projects for me.
