Hello all,
----------------------------------------Looks like it's finally back up and running again, I was wondering if the project had been abandoned which would've been a huge shame. Good to see some familiar names still here. I'm not crunching currently due to the crazy energy prices but I'm getting a quote from a solar installer soon so hopefully will get a system installed and maybe do some sunny day crunching. Hope everyone is well cheers Andy

Update - 17-06-2022 New server is finally up and running. Website has been transfered to the new server and we now have to trasnfer all project data from old server to the new one. It will take approximately 2 weeks and after that the final project configuration will be made. |

Hi everyone. Just letting you know that I will be signing off from WCG, permanently. That includes my stats website, which I have retired too. It's been a fun 13 years for me, but this four-month (and frankly badly managed) outage, together with the huge increase in the cost of electricity (and food, and everything else) means that it's lost its appeal to me.
----------------------------------------I would like to wish you all, especially the regulars, good luck and very best wishes for the future.

Hope everyone is well cheers Andy That's what I do, fantastic idea including pausing when there's not enough sunlight either start/end of day or when it's too cloudy. You'll love your new PV & become a smarter user of resources |

If they ever get this outage sorted (and im not convienced they will) i'll be back but at a reduced rate as i cant justify cost of running full time on all the machines now (a few work pcs will come back thou when not being used) I think they will/have lost a lot of members due to the extended and badly managed outage, they cant even give regular updates on what is happening and from reading between the lines it seems like nobody had any real experience with the systems or how to move and reconfigure them on new hardware and they didnt really consider any of this before they started moving stuff. |
