Good morning all. Anything new in the world of WCG? I am running two projects at the moment viz. SCC and OET however I am very surprised that I have twice as much 'in progress' crunching time for OET than I have for SCC. I thought that projects were balanced so that if two projects were selected then they would have 50% each of the CPU time allotted. Clearly I am wrong but how does it really work?

I'am running MCM and SCC and getting about 10 MCM's for 1 SCC. Probably more related to supply or just another WCG mystery we will never work out, just like the points scoring.

Good morning all. I'm playing a dangerous game with my projects. I have been aiming for a 20Y diamond for OET but also want to get a 10Y Diamond for SCC. I calculate that I have 85 days of OET in progress and my accumulated CPU time for OET is 19y 285d - I have therefore stopped OET and put 100% on SCC. Hopefully in 5 days I will have my 20Y Diamond and be well on the way to my 10Y Diamond for SCC - or not......

I've decided to turn my focus back to MCM. I'm up to 23 years. I'll never get another badge unless it goes on forever... so maybe I'll change my stats program so that it awards me unofficial badges every 5 years :-)

I would have thought that could provide motivation and, if widely publicised, aid recruitment. I'll have a think about strategy and get back to you.
