Interesting, after a *LOT* of diagnosis last night, I've come to the conclusion that the reason the BETA WUs weren't working on my gaming PC was due to some weird compatibility issue with GPUGrid - as soon as I suspended work on GPUGrid, the BETA WUs went past the "barrier" at 0.500% and continued to completion.

Given how much work a GPU can do, in comparison to a CPU, I'm now torn between doing GPUGrid or WCG on my gaming PC, if the project is officially released with the same issue.

Don't worry, if I do go with GPUGrid on my gaming PC, I'll still have at least 32 cores working on WCG, so I won't be leaving any time soon! smile
