Afternoon all. According to free-dc stats page, Steve who has joined our GPU team is still registered at UK BOINC for WCG. Anyway to give him a prod to venture his WCG work to us? Seems odd to join for GPU but not WCG. I think the answers NO  But what's Steve's user name on WCG? Couple of random thoughts - I don't suppose he's a mate of Thargor's? free-dc stats are not my thing but maybe he's registered on the boards either there or BOINC stats? @ Ian_UK you're the expert on those sites I think. Any ideas? |

Any ideas?Not someone I know, that I'm aware of - he possibly just saw the team-description on GPUGrid's team-list when he started crunching on there. I can possibly drop him a message through GPUGrid's website, since I'm showing as the team-founder over there. One very interesting fact is his GPUGrid profile says he has a contribution to a scientific publication called "Optimized Potential of Mean Force Calculations for Standard Binding Free Energies", released in April 2011. free-dc has him as steve90 on WCG. Also free-dc says he is part of Team England but is with us for GPU and UKBoinc for WCG. Unless he has chosen us when he really wanted to be with ukboinc.

Looks like my gaming PC picked one of the new round of beta WUs up, hopefully it'll have more luck with this batch, as I've not yet had one successfully complete...

I've managed to grab 27 Beta's, there is a slight problem with a minor few, finishing in really quick time... Reported and is said to be okay by Uplinger.

Looks like my gaming PC has actually picked up 5, although they all have an estimated completion time of 3 minutes 55 seconds.
