Good morning everyone.
All these colours requests set the old spongieform cells rolling down memory lane. For four years during my late teens / early 20's I worked as a part time (showman) theatre electrician (follow spots / console operator), on one long running show, the leading lady required that follow spots used filter colour Strand Electric No 23 Surprise Pink. ![]() |

Good morning all.
----------------------------------------domonijo's recollections also stirred my memories of my university (Bradford) days. We had a volunteer group called the TSA (Technical Services Association) that put on the lighting and sound for all sorts of functions and dances . When the Students Union Presidential hustings took place in the Great Hall I can remember that, for the least preferred candidate, the follow spots were set on a 75% slider - thus maximising the infra red and cooking the candidate slowly. Hehehehe.

That's great news TomNuttall, If you would like to meet up in Belfast for a drink or maybe catch a hockey game, send me a PM. Do these forums have PM's?. That sounds good, but we normally travel from Holyhead to Dublin then drive up to Strabane to stay with relatives there, visiting relatives in Derry/Strabane. However if I get some spare time we may be able to meet for a drink (I only drink orange when driving) Are you on Facebook. My facebook name is TomNuttall |

FYI, minor improvement to the stats target predictor... you can now select either team or individual targets.

Show off Many thanks Dave! Ice Blue is nice, What about 600M in a while? Don't worry, I'll stick with Ice Blue for now. May be a change when I hit 1 Billion in a couple of years... ![]() Would you like any particularly colour? Bronze perhaps ![]() I've given you a nice ice blue one for 500 million, but you can have any colour you like, since you're the only one likely to have it. Just send me a sample or the RGB/Hex values. FYI, here's my code that defines the ranges (can't be bothered to transcribe):
By the way, the code above made me laugh! Keep up the good work Dave, I refer to the stats pages regularly...

LOL, Colour wars - why can't we all have different colours? I was very happy with my 'Diamond' colour until Mamajuanauk put his spoke in the wheel or his spanner in the works (Ooooh I love mixed metaphors). I think that Mamajuanauk should wait until he hits 1 x 10^9 points and then he can have fireworks and sparklers and ..... It's not that I'm jealous or anything (bl**dy liar!). Well done Rod, that made me laugh too! Although you can keep 'Heliotrope'!!!Could I suggest 'Heliotrope' the colour which celebrated the 'Moggie Million' (The Morris 1000 car of which over a million were made). It's suitably revolting and certainly unique!

My facebook name is TomNuttall My Facebook name is Steven Lowry, I will send you a friend request. Strabane is a fair distance from me, I live in Whitehead on the east coast, below Larne. Would love to meet up, even if its for an orange :) I can't drink on my medication anyway. ![]() |

@RTS48 - going back a few days, I wonder if the discrepancy on points from WCG to BS is down to when the stats are calculated, I think WCG are twice a day but BS once. Not sure by any means and I ,of course, could be talking out of my proverbial hat.
----------------------------------------With tonight's stats update I will pass 9 years RT for MCM so still hoping to get a Diamond 10 before it finishes. The borrowed works laptop has been suffering from the heat a bit so had to tone that one down a bit, hoping to get it back to full tilt now the temperature has dropped a bit. ![]() Work has been having fun with some of the recent Windows updates breaking the printing from some software. If you're lucky you'll get two pages then it'll stop until you restart the program. Also had a few customer getting Cryptovirus infections, trying to explain their data is likely to be ruined unless they have backed up recently doesn't go down well. |
