Otherwise, I have no idea how anyone can get a Bronze badge yet, never mind Silver and above... Mamajuanauk has got a silver ![]() There are people in the HSTB forum "badge thread" who have Emerald, working towards Sapphire - I don't understand how they can get that many work-units! EDIT: and one idle core with *STILL* no work means I've swapped back to MCM priority. Will get the badge another time when they're actually releasing enough work-units. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Thargor at Mar 28, 2016 3:25:59 PM] |

Looks like I have enough HSTB work-units still in progress or in PV-jail to get the Bronze badge, but since switching to split MCM/HSTB, my 24-thread server doesn't have a single HSTB work-unit in the queue.

Dunno if it's a coincidence Thargor, but I'm the same. I switched everything to HSTB and got about 6 days worth (initially), but having gone to MCM/HSTB I haven't seen a single WU for 3 days now. I think Rod is right. Just have to be patient.

Rod... I was watching watching the Top Gear Bolivia special last night. To quote Jeremy Clarkson. "La Paz is the highest and worst capital city in the world."
----------------------------------------Beautiful country though.

Dave, If you can't lay a trail of rubber down the high street of a city, Clarkson is not interested. You cannot use the name Clarkson and the word culture in the same sentence. I have worked all over the world and I would rate Cairo, Beijing and Moscow well below La Paz OK it is a city that still uses roads that were designed for horse and cart (particularly in the centre where roads are steep, narrow and cobbled). The city is not by any means modern but has a certain old world (Colonial) charm with some seriously interesting architecture. Did I ever give you the link to my photograph albums? If you would like to look at some of the old and modern parts of La Paz I have lots of pictures. At the moment (until May) Google is still supporting Picasaweb so you can find my public pictures here http://picasaweb.google.com/rod.peel - enjoy! Unfortunately my China pictures pre dated my digital camera so I need to scan my pictures some day (there are thousands!)
