When I pause the BOINC Agent, the WCG tasks continue and my computer remains slow.
Here are some screen grabs. The WCG tasks take up the same amount of CPU when paused as they do when they're active... This is not paused. The CPU is being shared by two tasks. You can see the WCG icon in the bottom right of the screen. ![]() This is paused. The CPU usage is the same. The WCG icon shows it to be paused, but it's not. ![]() This shows the task manager and the WCG screen. All computation is reported to be suspended, but the CPU has not been released. ![]() I don't come by here very often, so if there's an answer to the problem, please email me or report the fix to the Team Andrax thread so they can email me. I'll wait a reasonable amount of time before removing the WCG Client. Thanks. |

You are still running some tasks that use version 7.03.
----------------------------------------The 7.06 version fixes your problem. This version is downloaded automatically. Abort tasks that still use version 7.03. ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |
