I tried to download the Boinc for android and this message appears: "your device is not compatible with this version".
I have a Motorola Razr D3, with a 1.2 ghz dual core processor, 1 Gb RAM and more than 1 gb free space. It´s a middle-end phone, recent launched here in Brazil. Why I can´t download it? I want to help more with my phone. I am a cruncher since jan 2007 with my pc. I downloaded the old NativeBoinc app, and crunched some works for FightAids, but in all of these works units appear the âerrorâ message in the results status. These old version doesnât work? Thanks and congratulations for the initiative! |

Same question asked yesterday! It's like you need Android 2.3 and a ARM CPU v ABI5 or up: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/AndroidBuildApp

Addendum: This is one of only 2 threads I found on Google discussing the specific message and points at something needed setting on the device:
----------------------------------------http://www.overclock.net/t/1326914/your-devic...this-version-galaxy-nexus Just a silly question but... have you checked the box to instal programs from unknown sources? It could be that simple. I know in Taiwan I can not install any payed apps because Google and Taiwan had a fight, so try one of the other (non-play store) app finding programs. The specs listed for the Motorola RAZR D3 at http://www.phonearena.com/phones/Motorola-RAZR-D3_id7784 look good. So I think there is some other reason that the website refuses to download to your phone.
