I am running boinc on my Galaxy SIII since july 22.
----------------------------------------I saw the status of "download complete" when it is ready to run and "running" when the WU is being crunched. Today i saw a few WU at 75%, 9,1% and 4% but when i put my device to charge, the boinc started new WUs instead of resume those that keep the state of "READY". I see this behavior in PC version when the "High priority" makes a WU that is in progress be stopped and replace it for other. ![]() |

Greetings,
This is because of a scheduling priority that BOINC uses. Your device may be marked as reliable, which will get it resent work units with a shorter deadline. BOINC catches this and runs the work unit that will hit the deadline first. Without seeing what your device has in the expanded view for deadlines I can not confirm. In some cases, the estimated runtimes for a work unit may cause the BOINC agent to believe that a work unit is going to hit the dead line before another work unit and push it up in its running queue. Thanks, -Uplinger |
