Vina workunit will not suspend and resets periodically to zero percent
Just downloaded FAHV_x3ZSW_B_IN_LEDGF_0046890_0031_1 and the workunit will not suspend normally ( as when computer in use or user requested from Activity->suspend). Task manager shows the process still running, elapsed time doesn't increase, but cpu time and progress bar do increase! After some percentage (5-25% roughly), the process disappears from task manager and when the workunit is "running" again it resets to zero.

Any ideas? Should I abort this workunit?

The previous Vina workunit was my first one, and it was also making a CPU core run above 65C which hasn't happened with any other workunit! (I may try reducing my CPU Vcore a fraction to see if that helps with that problem). It didn't however show the problem noted here.

Well I have to admit I did look at that post first, and I've just looked at it again after reading this, but clearly I've missed the part where it says about having a problem with the workunits suspending. It therefore only seems semi-relevant at best.

The workunit has now completed (while supposedly being suspended via Activity->Suspend). For anyone wishing to have another look into this, please find attached the relevant full stderr section from the 'Results status'->'Result Log' page.

I noted that the WU got as high as around 50% completion before resetting one time (cf. 25% I stated previously), if that helps at all. See 18:05:12 perhaps to see this.

Hmmm,

did not found the thread which covers the issue that all vina WUs (well, at leat all of my WUs) do not suspend properly. Even if I stop end exit boinc manager the WUs continue and I have to stop them using the windows task manager. Not very exciting...
