fredski, you'll find the error in this list: http://boincfaq.mundayweb.com/index.php?language=1&viewCat=3 You client_state has/had troubles. Well, the -161-error has been very "popular" over at CPDN for many years now, but I've still never heard about this being due to any problems with client_state.xml  "I make so many mistakes. You know the RTFM acronym... it says so in that linked BFS article, so take it up with Mr. Munday or Jord/Ageless who have sole maintenance rights to that BOINC info source ;P
