The past 12hrs or so, I began to notice that fresh HCC-GPU-WUs are not coming in to replenish the done HCC-GPU-WUs successfully uploaded. Now the machine has zero HCC-GPU-WUs. Any news regarding this matter?

After the Big outage there was a post about re-sending your preferences.
----------------------------------------Maybe worth a try?? Found it: Re: Major Outage Notice: Grid Offline 3:00 UTC Jan 22 - 3:00 UTC Jan 23 Due to an error, all preference updates were not correctly sent between databases. If you made a change to your preferences in the past 24 hours, please go to the preference page and re-save your settings again. That will cause them to be sent again. I suppose that the maximum limit of GPU WUs per core or per machine kicks in. I have never been able to have a cache with 2 or three days worth of GPU WUs. This would mean for fast cards something like 2000 WUs per day. The daily limit per GPU, thread, core or machine remains still a fuzzy concept for me.

Yes, prior to recent major outage, techs increased the limits - I think to 5000 WU's in progress per GPU (I am lazy to search for that info, but it was more-or-less something like this). Have not seen any info/post from techs about lowering the limit after resolving the issue with DB. Cheers ![]() ![]() Crunching@Home since January 13 2000. Shrubbing@Home since January 5 2006 ![]() |
