The limit is 7500. i got them all (500! Pages!), but i didnt want that much, so im sure i must surly abort 1-2000 close before deadline -_-

You want a degraded system because 2000(or more) reported errorous units at once? ^^

After the Big outage there was a post about re-sending your preferences. It was the project-settings alright. I forgot to resume what I earlier paused. My mistake. Anyway, about an hour before the unexpected (Jan29 00:30 UTC) outage, at my WCG project-settings webpage, I just resumed the GPU work (enrolment) by placing a tick back on the check-box with the description -- If there is no work available for my computer for the projects I have selected above, please send me work from another project. I had this un-ticked earlier*.I have the flow of HCC-GPU-WUs to my machine now normalized**. Thanks for the responses everyone.  Notes: *My motivation was: I wanted to momentarily pause the replenishment of HCC-GPU-WUs to give time for my CPU-WUs to catch up. Looking back, if only I had a convenient way of not requesting GPU-WUs (during a sync/update) in BOINC, I would not have resorted to going at the project-settings as I did. **Except that now (2013.01.29Tu.1508.utc), with the aftermath of the unexpected outage, the machine can't do a sync/update. ; ; andzgridPost#838 ; |
