yup
suggest a font change to something closer to the community grid's own (just a small thing) as the Arial it has atm looks a bit too standard maybe Trebuchet MS or something of the like just so it is slightly off the microsoft default font that it look slike its on at the moment (same for both sides) Think that's really good then not too difficult to get produced so cost p/item would be low... Additional questiosn that need to be thought of Cheapest printer? Numbers? Printed on the t-shirt in high-quality plastic? how printed? Standard t-shirt outline or some 'features' to it? (curved ends to the arms for eg) |

![]() graham, could you post a link to this banner in as high-res and as large as you can manage with out pixelation? Anyone good at creating animated banner ads that could be posted on websites or in signatures of forums that allow GIFs? [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 4, 2005 9:44:55 PM] |

maybe open up a WCG equiv. of the grid.org store
----------------------------------------edit: where would any profits go to?... could we manage to get them back to the purchaser so that it costs them as little as possible? ...checking the above now edit: free and easy to set up, but we need some WCG Tech/Admin/Mod to answer questions - primarily one's about being able to use the WCG logo, sell products with it on and/or abotu setting it up and handing over the reigns to the WCG or have a member running it [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Aug 4, 2005 10:04:57 PM] |

About printer, I dont have a problem with that because my friend have a professional print equipment so I think it will look nice. :-) Whole my crew told that they are up for this so we'll split the cost. I will post the final picture when we print it. Until then I will try to improve the T-Shirt.

Sounds good musicman We really need to make sure WCG are happy for us to print this stuff with ttheir logos on it Printing it using your stuff will definately cut down on overheads, problems, and make unit prices cheap so more people will be willing to buy. Other questions: Shipping and Payment? If successful, could printing manage to extend to other mediums - mugs, mousemats, sweatshirts, coasters, etc? Reply to this Post Reply with Quote [Delete this Post] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello everyone, Don't want to pour water on all of this wonderful creativity, but I know that IBM has given exclusive merchandising rights to one company for World Community Grid merchandise. I am trying to gather the information on the name of the merchant, website, etc. and will post back as soon as I receive the information. Thanks! [Aug 3, 2005 1:34:11 PM] ================================= Hi musicman and Graham, I'm sorry you probably missed this post from earlier in the week. WCG has given exclusive merchandising rights to one organization. I am in the process of obtaining the name and contact information for that vendor and will let everyone know. Thanks! |
